Our board

Chair – An esteemed career in the private, public and community sectors including roles as a probation officer, and senior manager in Justice, Education, EEO, and AMP. She was our Retirement Commissioner for 10 years and more recently the CE of Wellington Free Ambulance. Currently she chairs private and NGO boards.

Trustee – (Te Rarawa, Te Aupōuri)
Over thirty years experience working at all levels of our public health system, from renal nurse to Deputy Director-General, Ministry of Health as well as positions on DHB and Iwi health boards.

Trustee – Previous experience as Director, Assurance Standards at the External Reporting Board and Director, Quality Assurance at the Office of the Auditor-General. Extensive auditing background in the public, private and community sectors.

Trustee – Social worker and mental health manager here and in Scotland before serving as the Executive Director of the J R McKenzie Trust for over 20 years.

Centre Director – Author of ‘Out of the Woods - A Journey Through Depression and Anxiety’, mental health advocate and founder of the Community Law Centre.
