Dame Diana Crossan was our Retirement Commissioner for 10 years and more recently the CE of Wellington Free Ambulance. Currently she chairs private and NGO boards.

Previous experience as Director, Assurance Standards at the External Reporting Board and Director, Quality Assurance at the Office of the Auditor-General. Extensive auditing background in the public, private and community sectors.

Derek Wright
Trustee
Derek has a prestigious and extensive career, both locally and internationally, in the Mental Health and Addictions sector. In New Zealand, he served as the National CEO Lead for Mental Health and Addictions until April 2019.
He is also the author of the 1997 initial report that later evolved into the Mental Health Commission’s Blueprint for Mental Health Services, New Zealand.

Allan Freeth

Allan has extensive experience in both governance and management across telecommunications, the rural sector, banking, and finance. He has a strong record in governance within the not-for-profit sector, having served as Chairman of Queen Margaret College, Save the Children NZ, and Deputy Chairman of FilmNZ.
He is currently Chief Executive of the Environmental Protection Authority and also acts as an advisor for a number of charities associated with children and youth, community, and the arts.
