Our facilities

We have a beautiful, purpose-built space in Te-Whanganui-a-tara (Wellington), located in the James Smith Building on Cuba Street, Te Aro.

Communal spaces

Connection is an important part of recovery. Our communal spaces offer a relaxed setting to enjoy a cup of tea, share kōrero (conversation), or join in group activities, building whanaungatanga (relationships) and a sense of belonging.

Therapy rooms

Our therapy rooms are designed for comfort, safety, and confidentiality. Soft lighting, soothing décor, and soundproofing create a warm, safe environment for one-on-one or group sessions, fostering trust and whakaora (healing).

Somatic suite

This light-filled space is a place for somatic therapy. It focuses on the connection between body and mind, supporting participants to process trauma and stress that are often held physically.

Rongoā Māori room

Our Rongoā Māori Room is a calm and culturally grounded space designed to support traditional healing practices. Rooted in tikanga, it provides a safe and respectful environment for those receiving care, offering a place of connection, balance, and restoration.

GP clinic

Our GP clinic is a welcoming, private space where medical care and wellbeing support come together. It is equipped for consultations, health checks, and ongoing care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Art room

The art room is a vibrant space for creativity and whakapuaki (expression). Through painting, drawing, sculpture, and more, you can explore feelings, tell your story, and discover new perspectives—supported by tohunga toi (art therapists) and a welcoming community.

Music room

Creativity and self-expression come alive in our music room. Equipped with instruments and comfortable seating, it’s a safe space to explore rhythm and melody—whether through guided music therapy or simply enjoying the soothing power of puoro (music).

Communal area

Our main open plan communal area is the heart of connection at the clinic. It’s where we come together to share kai prepared fresh on-site, embracing the spirit of manaakitanga—caring for and looking after one another. Morning tea, lunch, and snacks are provided throughout the day, offering nourishing food, warm conversation, and a sense of whanaungatanga (belonging).

Sauna

Step into our sauna for deep relaxation and restoration. The gentle heat soothes muscles, eases stress, and supports tinana (physical health) and hinengaro (mental health)—a perfect way to unwind after your day’s activities.

Relaxation room

Our relaxation room is a quiet sanctuary to slow down and simply be. Soft furnishings, La-Z-Boy recliners, calming colours, and gentle background sounds create the perfect space for whakatau (rest), whakaaroaro (reflection), or meditation between sessions.
